What happens in the video

  1. 0:00 Sizes and tolerances on a drawing
  2. 0:05 Under the reading: the drawing size. Nominal size + each deviation = each limit.
  3. 0:12 Upper limit 20.00, lower limit 19.95. This shaft is above 20.00: reject.
  4. 0:18 A shaft written ±: one deviation up, one down. Limits 31.95 to 32.05: pass.
  5. 0:25 A bore: lower deviation zero, upper positive. Limits 28.00 to 28.05: pass.
  6. 0:32 The drawing sets each sign: a shaft can have positive deviations, a hole negative.
  7. 0:38 No tolerance written? Use the general tolerance on the drawing, e.g. ISO 2768-m.
