Outside micrometer: outside diameter of flange Ø80
Outside micrometer: outside diameter of flange Ø80: a 28-second reenactment recorded in the KELIBRON 3D lab, with English captions. The steps below are the captions in order, and you can do the same measurement yourself in the lab.
What happens in the video
- 0:00 Outside micrometer: outside diameter of flange Ø80
- 0:04 A micrometer above 25 mm cannot close its faces. Clamp the 75 mm setting standard with the ratchet: it should read 75 mm.
- 0:09 Back the spindle off and set flange Ø80 between the anvil and the spindle.
- 0:13 Turn the ratchet to bring the spindle slowly onto the part until the anvil and the spindle both touch it.
- 0:18 Read while the micrometer is still on the part: 79.94 mm, within 79.90–80.00 mm.
